Trademark/Copyright
Every individual has a right to protect something he has created, whether it is a book, phrase and/or a logo. Application may be made with the Patent and Trademark Office or the Library of Congress to protect the idea throughout the United States. A trademark or copyright prevents another party from using that phrase or logo.
Franchise
Businesses allow individuals an opportunity to buy into their business. This is completed by purchasing a franchise. To purchase a franchise, an individual needs to be aware of the duties and rights of a franchisee.
