Land Use and Construction Law:
When an individual purchases a new home from the builder, he also buys warranty rights. Sometimes the builder will refuse to correct some deficiencies in the residence. There are also occasions where the new homeowner finds serious defects in his new home. It could be settling of the residence, water seeping into the basement or crawl space or negligence in the building of the home. The property owner does have rights to correct these problems.
